Our tailored rehabilitation programs help birds regain their strength and skills for release.

We provide medical treatment for various bird species. Some treatment options we offer includes fluid therapy, medication administration, wound management, fracture stabilization, fecal analysis, and bloodwork. We work with our local veterinary clinic where we bring patients for radiographs and minor procedures. For patients requiring orthopedic surgery or advanced procedures we consult with, and transfer our patients to other veterinary professionals specializing in wildlife rehabilitation to ensure we provide the most appropriate care to our patients. We also network regularly with larger rehabilitation centres and transfer patients for further conditioning when appropriate.

Rehabilitation Programs

Our rehabilitation centre has a clinic equipped with ICU cages, incubator, and medical equipment to support our patient's needs. Once a patient has progressed out of the ICU, they are transferred to one of our outdoor enclosures for further rehabilitation. Larger birds (hawks, owls, eagles, osprey, vultures etc) requiring large flight cages are eventually transferred to larger rehabilitation centres as appropriate, for further rehabilitation.

Recently, we were the recipient of a community donation. That donation funding is going towards the construction of a new enclosure! Stay tuned for updates on this project.
